Know YOUR Pear

Testicular cancer is the #1 cancer in younger guys. We are hearing a lot about mental health affecting young men (do I still class, I recently turned 34) and how support within local communities is lacking. But how often do we talk about our balls, our pair, our meat and two veg?

You may now be running for a private room & wanting to check things out. You may be in a state of panic. Worried. Concerned. Afraid.

But there is good news. It is highly curable when caught early, in fact, with treatment, upwards of 95% have a survival rate.

Unbuckle – it’s time to learn!

1 – Steam

Much like for exercise, you need to warm up. Get in the shower or bath, crank the heat up and allow your most precious relax

2 – Roll

Your thumb and fingers are your tools of the trade here. Roll one testicle between them and get to know your left or right. Understand its anatomy, how it feels today. Check for anything painful or changes, keep a mental or physical note

What to look for – Your nuts should feel pretty smooth and firm. Sensitive, but not painful. Get to know what’s normal for you. Then look for unusual changes over time. Stuff like a lump, swelling or pain. If you notice a change, it doesn’t automatically mean something is wrong. Get your doc to take a look and go from there. 3 – Repeat

Repeat the roll on the other, they may well feel different, but don’t panic if they aren’t identical.

If you are in any doubt, seek professional medical helphere’s a guide to know what to expect from an appointment

So there you go, it’s time to put some mood lighting on, get steamy & check your pear
